Join us for a dynamic panel discussion featuring economists who are integrating generative AI into their daily workflows. The panelists will share how they use GenAI to streamline research, enhance forecasting, improve communication, and accelerate analysis across fast-moving economic environments. From drafting insights to exploring data, they’ll offer practical examples and reflect on how these tools are reshaping the profession.


Atsi Sheth is Chief Credit Officer and Head of Credit Strategy & Standards at Moody's Ratings.

Prior to her appointment in 2024, she held several leadership roles at Moody's, including Managing Director and Global Head of Credit Strategy and Research (2021–2024). She also served as Managing Director, Chief Credit Officer for the Americas (2018–2021), and Managing Director, Sovereign Risk Group (2016–2018).

Atsi is a long-time champion of Moody's Community Impact and Inclusion initiatives. She serves on the Board of Moody's Foundation and was the Executive Sponsor of the Pan Asian Impact Business Resource Group.

Earlier in her career, Atsi was Chief Economist at Reliance Capital and taught courses on International Political Economy and Emerging Markets at Columbia University and Northwestern University. She holds a PhD from Northwestern University and a BA from Bombay University.

Chuxin Liu is a PhD economist and Senior Associate at JPMorgan Chase. She began her career working on economic forecasting and stress-testing models. Driven by her passion for AI and its transformative potential, she pivoted her career to focus on AI applications in finance and model risk.

Michael McDonough works on the Macro Product team at Bloomberg LP, where he leads the development of next-generation data and analytics by combining deep market expertise with applied coding skills. He has advanced Bloomberg’s use of alternative and AI-driven data, introduced prediction-market data to the Bloomberg Terminal ahead of broader adoption, and partnered with private firms to create new macroeconomic indicators. Michael also advises global policymakers and provides strategic insight on economic trends.

Previously, he built and led Bloomberg’s first global economics research team, overseeing macroeconomic research, data strategy, and representation at major financial events. He also managed Bloomberg’s global economics business and spent two years in Hong Kong focusing on Asian markets and launching Bloomberg’s regional research operations.
